Sun in Leo Talisman
Sun in Leo: the light that comes from the heart.
The first gemstone talisman I ever made was one of the Sun in Leo. A very weak elective, since Saturn was in Aquarius.
Still… I will never forget the emotion. How I cried tears of joy at the inexplicable feeling of finally finding something I had searched for my whole life.
The Sun is the natural significator of the Daimon, the Self, the Ori, the Holy Guardian Angel: the Center of your being, the Source of your Inspiration, the light that points to your Destiny, the fire within you to do what you came into this world to do.
The Sun talisman regenerates you from within, heals the wounds that distance you from your essence, and strengthens your self-confidence so that you can face the sun, shine under the spotlight, and conquer your place in the sun.
If you don't already have a talisman and don't know where to start, I wholeheartedly (pun intended) recommend the Sun talisman.
You know, I was raised in an environment where my caregivers only gave me love when I reinforced their sense of self—sacrificing my own in the process.
For many painful years, I was insecure, anxious, and shy.
(Those who know me from my Old Testament days still can't believe I'm even making YouTube videos now...)
I was conditioned to believe that standing out, achieving my goals, getting what I want, and doing what I love is synonymous with being undermined, facing hostility, and experiencing emotional abandonment.
But the Sun, through the talismans, showed me something else.
It's true that sometimes a Sun talisman will put you in a position to assert yourself. But you will emerge stronger from the situation. If the whole jungle trembles at the roar of His Majesty, with this talisman, people will stop to listen to what you are saying.
It was that first talisman of the Sun that also set me on the path to eudaimonia.
I was being crushed by my Saturnian revolution, depressed atop the shards of the old life that Cronus had caused to crumble.
(Incidentally… the Sun, like Jupiter, is an excellent remedy for an overly Saturn-dominated chart and a mitigating factor for difficult transits of the Major Malefic.)
And then I read Jung's "Man and His Symbols," where he reveals how the Self is the center of the psyche, the guide to one's destiny, and the meaning of one's life.
That's how my solar pilgrimage to the Daimon began. Synchronicities led me to a deeper understanding of this Truth, until the day I dreamed of my Daimon (it was INSANE and maybe one day I'll tell that story).
Just as the Golden Titan bestows life upon everything that breathes on this planet, it melted the ice in my heart, illuminated the shadows in my psyche, and in its warm, unasking embrace, healed my spirit and regenerated my sense of self.
What I thought of this Leo Sun talisman
The best solar talisman I had up until then was the one with the Sun in Aries, which, by the way, is still available.
But this one is gentler. Where Aries takes the initiative, Leo attracts. Where Aries competes, Leo overshadows. It's the same principle, but with different flavors.
In Leo, the sun's warmth warms without burning.
I had a nasty muscle inflammation, and not only did this talisman help improve it without making it worse, it opened the way for a much faster and more accessible treatment than I thought I would need.
(It was my husband, Leo Ascendant and Aries Sun, who had the epiphany - after MONTHS.)
I also felt improvements in my mental health, with more energy and clarity (because I'm a grumpy Saturn who's always grumbling and dragging my feet).
Regarding the elective Sun in Leo
These talismans were engraved and consecrated with the Sun rising in Leo on its day and hour, capturing the gentle beauty of Nature's awakening that follows the Cauda Pavonis.
The Moon, relevant in all electives because it decodes the frequencies of the Spheres for our sub-lunar Kingdom of Matter, was in the beneficial 11th house, at excellent speed and approaching a sextile with the Sun, maximizing the Sun's power in these talismans.
But, for me, the best thing of all is the Moon in conjunction with Aldebaran, the Eye of the Bull, a Royal Star that brings prominence and abundance and not only strengthens the significations of the Sun but also brings a stellar touch.
(In fact, Aldebaran's talismans were crafted soon after.)
Both the Moon and the Sun were free from the influences of the Malefics, separated (and out of orb) from fluid aspects with them. Mars and Saturn positioned in cadent houses helps ensure that they will not interfere with the proper functioning of the talismans.
I'll confess that I regret not having done more.
I already knew there would be no solar elections in 2026, thanks to Saturn in Aries and the South Node in Leo.
But only later did I realize that, in fact, the next viable elective for the Sun talisman is in… 2030.
Therefore, these will be available in very limited quantities, as I will reserve some for potential clients who need remediation.
Materials: the essence of the Sun throughout your life.
The talismans were crafted from an 8mm spherical garnet gemstone and a 10mm hematite gemstone, with a pin and jump ring in 925 silver.
I found the garnet one a bit more energetically "hotter" and the hematite one, more "cool." A more mysterious Sun, like a rock band frontman—think Robert Plant, who, surprisingly to absolutely no one, had… the Sun in Leo.
But, aside from that difference in the "temperaments" of the materials, in operational terms, I didn't feel any difference. They both function the same as channels for the sun.
Free of glue, the talismans can be wet without problems. The materials guarantee not only conductivity to the Sun's energies, but also the longevity of the talismans.
Unless damaged, such as by mechanical shock, this talisman will bring the blessings of the Sun to you throughout your life.
Recommendations and contraindications
I recommend these talismans to all those who need encouragement, purpose, enlightenment, regeneration, leadership, and visibility. It is a gentle and invigorating talisman that you can use as often as you wish.
This talisman is particularly suitable for practitioners of Planetary Magic, as it creates a kind of portal to the Sun, making its energies more accessible and its ears more attentive to their requests.
In fact, you can speak to the talisman—which houses a spirit from the realm of Jupiter—in situations that demand swift action. Even without a formal ritual or invocation, your request will be heard.
The Sun is the patron of people who work in entrepreneurship, leadership, photography, audiovisual media, theater, healing, the arts, and of those who are models, influencers, YouTubers, politicians – in short, those who need to be visible and shine. If this applies to you, it will bless your work.
If the Sun in your natal chart is in Aquarius or Libra, this talisman may cause some type of allergic reaction. In some cases, the difficulties inherent in the placement become more acute before they are resolved.
